Meet your instructor

Mia Lauchengco

Hi, I’m Mia!

I started making soap in 2009 because I wanted a natural, mild soap for my daughter, who was a baby at the time. Little did I know that making Castile soap in my own kitchen would eventually lead me to teaching others how to make soaps and scents of their own.

Since 2018, I’ve taught over a thousand students through hands-on workshops, corporate events and online classes in soapmaking and home scents in the Philippines, Singapore and the United States.

What I love most is making the process easy to understand, especially for complete beginners.

I’ll guide you step by step, explain not just what to do but why, and help you build the confidence to eventually create soaps of your own.

I’m excited to share what I’ve learned through more than a decade of making soap, teaching, experimenting and studying the craft, so you don’t have to figure it all out yourself.
